Supreme Court Schedules Monday to Hear Atiku's Appeal Against Tinubu

The Supreme Court has scheduled Monday, October 23rd for the judgment on Atiku Abubakar's appeal against the verdict of the Presidential Tribunal, which upheld President Bola Tinubu's victory. Atiku, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had approached the court after his suit was dismissed by the lower tribunal. In his appeal, Atiku argued that the tribunal made a serious error in its judgment. He also requested the Supreme Court to allow him to present fresh evidence, alleging that Tinubu forged the document he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Tinubu, on the other hand, requested the court to dismiss the application, claiming it was an abuse of court processes. Atiku urged the court to disregard technicalities and consider his application seriously.
